Hi, I have come across the need to link rst files together in a lossy way. My use case could be described as "For more information please see <link>", for example while writing a tutorial for first time users, you want to keep it simply yet provide an "in deep document of the component". For my surprise there isn't any (at least in the docs) simple way of doing this.
In short I want something like how wiki's work, where you could easily refer to any other internal link without having to go to much troubles. The current solution seems to be http://sphinx.pocoo.org/markup/inline.html#ref-role but that is a link to a "section" rather than a "document".
