For printed documents hyper-links are pretty useless. I used a trick in
reST to convert all the links to footnotes using the .. target-notes:
directive, but I can't get it to work when using Sphinx (I get latex
errors).

Is there any way to accomplish that using Sphinx?

Thanks!
