latex_show_pagerefs = True in :file:`conf.py`.
I wrote a couple sections within the main source file (index.rst), and
referenced the second section from the first. The latex output did
*not* include a page number.
I moved those sections into a separate file, and referenced it in my
toctree. The latex output in this case *did* include the page
number.
