This is because C markup migrated to a new syntax, integrating
in the new "domains" feature.  In 1.0 beta2, you need to
activate the "sphinx.ext.oldcmarkup" extension to support the
old markup; for the next beta I have changed that so that it is
activated by default.

You should still migrate to the new syntax, see
<http://sphinx.pocoo.org/latest/domains.html>.
