Also it appears that last year, there were at least 2 other people asking me
about the proposal (that is, they found it somewhere over the internet and
emailed me for clarification) -- basically I just replied with the same
thing ("sorry I didn't do that last GSoC, I did something else"). So there
really is demand in this kind of bridge.I am actually still eligible for GSoC this year and personally also would like to have this feature, but I'm not sure whether I should apply.
