For some reason Sphinx has been generating HTML with double/triple
line spacing (like below). It doesn't show up much in the browser
EXCEPT when there is some code blocks which use pre and the code
samples are spread out. I'm using 1.0.7 (it also does this in 1.0.5)
I'm on a Linux system that has not changed in ages.
