I have very recently been doing something similar. You can see the regular published docs builds for that project here:

If so, then I might be able to answer more specific questions about they way I'm doing this project that could help you out. Please note that the reference is specifically intended to be language neutral at this stage: we are producing SDK kits that provide assistance and language bindings to this API in a variety of languages, and each one of those will have its own documentation.
