I have a bunch of data presented using field lists like this (dummy labels
and data):

  :Validity: 37.2
  :Duration: 17 of 6

I'd like to provide a way of linking to another ref which has detailed
explanations of what each label means and how it was calculated. A simple
approach is to include it with the value like this:

   :Validity: 37.2 :ref:`(i) <info_validity>`

Unfortunately that is rather ugly and litters the page. I can use
Javascript and CSS to make the label clickable but that doesn't help with PDF.

Any suggestions? I'm very reluctant to abandon field lists as they work
extremely well for my documents.

Roger
