Forgive me if this is a duplicate post (I posted yesterday soon after I
joined the group but my message never showed up).
This happens for the SQLAlchemy project and can be seen at
https://readthedocs.org/builds/sqlalchemy/.
make latex and make latextpdf fail unless preceded by make pickle, make
html, etc.
The failure message is:

What does pickling achieve for latex builds? From looking at
http://sphinx-doc.org/builders.html#builders, pickling would only be
useful for HTML, right?
Any suggestions on where I should be looking?
