Hi Hiroki, You can find a 'searchindex.js' file in the _build/html directory and it contains searchable words. I checked it and I realize your reported problem is a 'ja' algorithm's bug. FYI, the sphinx built-in search feature provides 2 language mode: 'en' and 'ja'. 'en' and 'ja' algorithms are completely different. 'en' splits words with whitespace. 'ja' splits words with character segments by default (or you can choose 'mecab').
