So if you want to extend a sphinx default theme, please refer this document: http://sphinx-doc.org/theming.html#creating-themes BTW, I think Sphinx 3rd-party themes are not gathered in one place. You might be able to find some themes on PyPI, github, bitbucket. # Sphinx-users.jp introduces a part of themes with snapshots. # http://sphinx-users.jp/cookbook/changetheme/#id8 # Text is written by Japanese, however it is useful. # Sphinx-users.jp also introduces the how-to-create-a-new-theme article in Japanese. # http://sphinx-users.jp/cookbook/makingwebsite/index.html # If you can use some translation service (like a Google translator), it is not difficult to read.
