This looks promising. It numbered the figures in HTML output. How do I cite the figures in-text? In LaTeX output, a figure is numbered 4.1 and the same figure is numbered 1 in HTML output. There must be a way to cite the figure symbolically so the in-text citation has the appropriate number in either output format. -- Joshua N.
