hi there - I am having trouble getting xrefs to equations to work.
googling lead me here:
http://www.sphinx-doc.org/en/stable/ext/math.html#module-sphinx.ext.mathbase,
which shows this example
.. math:: e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0
: label: euler
Euler's identity, equation :eq:`euler`, was elected one of the most
beautiful mathematical formulas. (edited)
but when I build a PDF, I get (??) instead of the equ number.
My extensions are: extensions = ['sphinx.ext.autodoc',
'sphinx.ext.doctest',
'sphinx.ext.intersphinx',
'sphinx.ext.todo',
'sphinx.ext.ifconfig',
'sphinx.ext.viewcode',
'sphinx.ext.mathjax']
any ideas what's going wrong here? thanks in advance
