Hi, It's custom directive only for Sphinx-document. It is registered via add_object_type API at here: https://github.com/sphinx-doc/sphinx/blob/a498960de9039b0d0c8d24f75f32fa4acd5b75e1/doc/conf.py#L146-L148
So there are no document for confval directive.
