The actual message I get when executing make html is:

WARNING: undecodable source characters, replacing with "?"

I get one of these messages for each letter with accent on the new .rst 
file.

In order to fix it I have been unsuccessfully playing with the settings on 
my system, my editor and on sphinx's conf.py

Any suggestion is very much welcome...
