Hi all. SPI is investigating options for Directors and Officers insurance.
I'm interested in any recommendations for insurance companies, brokers or other organisaations who offer D&O insurance packages suitable for US not-for-profit corporations. Please feel free to provide recommendations in reply to this email or via private email if you prefer. Here are a couple of recommendations I have already: Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York http://www.npccny.org/info/oi2.htm Using NPCC's insurance requires being a member of the organisation. Membership would cost no more than $250 and seems to provide affordable D&O insurance for members. The Weiner Company http://www.weinerco.com/ A similar FOSS foundation went through this company and were apparently happy with the result.
