I second - should use the same SASL auth framework that is used by QEMU-VNC and get rid of the ticket mechanism.

On another note... having a gtk-spice widget would also be hugely helpful
for virt-manager, etc. -- that's another issue I'm sure you're already
keenly aware of. :)
