I didn't mean I have a newer one, just that someone should make one. I don't know who the Ubuntu package maintainer is, or is it the Debian package maintainer, but you should check for a new one and contact them if there isn't one. Same about lack of an agent. Or you could do it yourself - building a package is probably worth it if you have hundreds of guests. > __________________________________________________________________ > > From: Alon Levy <al...@redhat.com> > To: Naga Mohan Pothula <nagamohan.poth...@yahoo.com> > Cc: "spice-devel@lists.freedesktop.org" > <spice-devel@lists.freedesktop.org> > Sent: Sunday, October 9, 2011 6:11 AM > Subject: Re: [Spice-devel] Ubuntu - max video resoltion 1024x768 > On Fri, Oct 07, 2011 at 03:38:48PM -0700, Naga Mohan Pothula wrote: > > Hi, > > I'm facing the problem with video resolution for Ubuntu 11.04 > Guest > > connected with Spice 0.9.1. > > Max resolution is 1024x768 even with latest qxl driver > I managed to get a larger resolution by specifying a Viewport setting > in > xorg.conf, I used the 11.04 livecd (amd64): > Section "Device" > Identifier "qxl" > Driver "qxl" > EndSection > Section "Screen" > Identifier "screen" > Device "qxl" > SubSection "Display" > Virtual 1920 1200 > EndSubSection > EndSection > > "xserver-xorg-video-qxl 0.0.12-1ubuntu4" installed. > This is pretty old.
