Hi Alon,
My "video" was reset to vga somehow. I remember setting it to qxl.
But ...
Initially, I installed
http://spice-space.org/download/binaries/
qxl-win-20110802\xp\x86
But that would not install without a bang mark. So I figured
since I was using EL linux, I was out of date. Retrying
http://spice-space.org/download/binaries/
qxl-win-20110802\xp\x86\qxl-win32-0.5.3
Did the trick.
Now I am able to install the video driver. Thank you!
#2 is fixed. One to go!
