I'm not aware of a way to make spice work with vmware hypervisor. So the solution wouldn't be the same as we can do with KVM. If your guest is Linux on Xorg, you could try x11spice [0] and connect with a spice client like virt-viewer or remote-viewer (part of virt-viewer package) [1].
