If you want to find out what all the different bits of the engine do and how they work take a look at:
http://www.howstuffworks.com/category.htm?cat=sc-engi This is a really great site for showing 'how stuff works' in laymans terms. There are sections about how most parts of a car work e.g. engine, gearbox, carburretors, brakes etc... Best of all it's free! I was like you 2 years ago when I bought my Spitfire, didn't have the first clue about cars, but with the help of this list and 'messing about with the car' I now have a reasonable knowledge of how most of the car works. Just staring at parts diagrams or descriptions long enough and trying to un-pick what they do can be enough to understand a system on a rudimentary level. good luck! cheers John http://www.spit1500.co.uk/ --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Hi Guys, > Picked up my "new" Magenta GT6 Mk3 on Saturday- I'm in motor heaven! > But i > need some real help I do not know the first thing about cars.
