Found the chassis number under all that paint. Its amazing what having the right tool will do. I started out using my father's old B&D grinder, but soon discovered the bearing was shot and it was vibrating like a SOB. So off I went to Princess Auto. I came back with a new grinder, a set of deep 1/2 inch SAE sockets and some other goodies. :) Anyhow I should be done the chassis and have it painted by the end of the month.
