    The 4 bolt diff casings do not have the 2 centre holes drilled.

This is not a good idea. The 2 unused holes go through to the inside face of the diff 
and are an entry point for contamination. These holes should be blanked off - the 
Canley Classics swing spring conversion includes 2 grub screws to do this.
