Greetings all,
I'm Alan, and I've lurking on the list for a couple of months
now since I purchased a 64 Mk1. The problem I've having now is that the
header tank is leaking. The P.O. attempted to weld and caulk the seams, but
it was not effective. To compound the problem, it appears that the leaking
coolant has cracked the inlet manifold. So, here are my requests/questions:
1. Does anyone have a spare header tank or Mk1 inlet manifold sitting
gathering dust?
2. Is it an option to use a Mk2 intlet with a header tank and Mk1 exhaust
manifold? If so, do I need to plumb the water jacket?
