Does it sound like the rattle you hear when you shake a can of spray paint?
My bet is that you are "pining" or "detonating". If you try going about
25mph in 4th gear, and then floor it, you'll probably here the same noise.
You timing is off. I always screw this up. It is too far advanced, and
you need to retard it a bit.
