Hey listers,
13 days, 5 cuts, 2 gaskets, 1 intake manifold, 1 clamp, numerous swear words and one very tired and aching body later... my Spit is fixed. 13 days was a very very long time to be without my Spit. Naturally I took it for a drive when it was finished, I'd forgotten what it was like! The way the steering wheel follows the road - and the rest of the car doesnt. The way your face aches from all that grinning. The strange smells - and what weird smells it produced after sitting there for that long. I hope they stop soon. Of course I still have the grin on my face now... I do hope its a long time before I have to do that again...
