Andre- Been there, done that. When restoring my '64, I discovered that a PO had plastered the trunk lid with about 3/8" of filler as well as significant portions of the rear valance, passenger side rocker panel, bonnet, and doors. I ended up chiping, peeling, scraping, sanding off more than a full brown paper grocery bag full of the stuff, must have been close to 20 lbs of filler.
