Brian, Terrible, terrible news. This is a truly horrible thing to happen - I know, Sammy the MGBGT that I had before Daffy, my first classic, the car that took my wife and me on honeymoon, was rear-ended by a dozy pizza delivery driver. It's like, I put all this work into it and for what?
At least your injuries are not more severe. That's what REALLY matters. Cars can be replaced, you can't. Don't let the insurance company screw you. Both my wife and I have had cars that have been written off after being rear-ended, both times we had to fight for 2-3 months before they settled a value for the car that we would accept - and in one case the car was only worth #400 ($600!). Perservere, and get what you are due. Sorry, I can't help you with a new bodyshell.
