Fellow Listers; A big thanks to all who responded about my seized engine/rusty cyl bores issue. I appreciate your time and I found the recommendations helpful.
The suggestions I received centered around two approaches: 1) complete teardown/rebuild, 2) find a decent used motor for a transplant. I am considering these options at this time, and have a couple of additional questions.... 1) For those who may have recently completed a rebuild on a 1500, could you supply me a ballpark figure on your cost? 2) Would anyone have a decent, non-seized used 1500 motor that they 'd like to part with?
