Hi Listers, The oil pressure on my 72 spit suddenly dropped to zero. The remanufactured engine has about six hundred miles on it.
When the engine was installed the pressure read 60 lbs. and everything was fine until this weekend when I started out for a quick spin. Got to the corner and noticed the oil pressure idiot light was on. Hooked up a pressure guage today and cranked the engine with the coil wire disconnected and I am getting a zero reading. Any inputs on what may have failed????? Oil pump???? What do I do next??? Appreciate any feedback.
