Well I did it, ordered 4 new 205/60HR-13 Sumitomo HTR 200 tires for the Spitfire. They should arrive at my door Friday and if so Ill put them on this weekend. The old 205/60 BFG's are bald and really unsafe - I hope I'll like these as I have had BFG's on the car for probably the better of twenty years. I just couldn't justify the price. For roughly $23 less a tire the Sumitomo has better specs and according to tire racks survey better performance (for what I use them for) than the old standby - SO - I hope I like the look as well as the BFG's and we'll see how they perform
