If you put K&N's on be prepared to change the carb needles (you need richer 
to balance out the increased air flow) and would also benefit from heavier 
carb springs (yellow coded ones from memory).  This stops the carb needles 
rising too rapidly when opening the throttle, thus giving smoother response.

Does anyone know what the K&N part number is for air filters that would
fit a Spitfire 1500 with SU HS4s, or a cheap place to get them in the USA?
