Well I took the whole thing apart and YES I did forget to replace the bolts
on the rear engine plate (it's amazing what them things do!!!!! ) Shifts
smooth as silk both into first and reverse. Thanks to all who tried to help
me with the problems that I described in my earlier post. Live and learn!!!
