That's what I got when I found I needed a four-seater. Lots of commonality of spares, very similar layout mechanically, and you have a choice of Saloon, Convertible or Coupi; 948, 1200, 12/50 or even 13/60 (if you like ugly bonnets). If you really need power, you could always go for a Vitesse, I suppose (if you like ugly bonnets...). Go on, buy a Herald - you know it makes sense!
