I have a set of magnesium wheels which, when polished, look great. I had the spokes and inner wheel painted the same color as the body -- leaving the outer rim for polishing. They sparkle for two weeks or so and revert to the "die cast grey" appearance. I'm reluctant to use a clear coating for fear of it "yellowing" or becoming cloudy/cracked or chipped. I would greatly appreciate a recommendation as its' becomming a part-time job keeping them glossy.
