Are you sure it's so terminal? Mine has some rather severe rot, and I was seriously considering replacing the tub and frame as a result. I've got holes in the frame I can stick my hands through, as well in the sills and rear body brace the trailing arms attach to.
But after pricing a number of the repair pieces, as well as the ability to fabricate many of them myself, I realized that the repair work would be a bit tedious, but not that expensive. So you may wish to investigate the repair bits and see what you think.
