This is true only if some previous owner has lost the proper parts. There are supposed to be studs, and the outer part (that holds the nut) is supposed to be fine-threaded. I cannot say anything about the inner part, since I have never unscrewed my studs from the manifold. But I would not be surprised if they were coarse-threaded.
The official part number is 105745. It might be worth a call to TRF to see if they have any. they are listed in their price list, but that does not mean a whole lot...
