cheers Marv
I made the dash for my wife's '78 spitfire out of a solid piece of teak. I live in south Florida so I don't know if cold weather would cause a problem but I have had this one in for a year and it is still in good shape after a very hot and humid summer. My wife wanted a one peace so that's why I made it that way. Three sections does make it easier to work behind. I did not install the heater controls, It never get's so cold that the heat from the engine doesn't keep your legs warm. I also left out most of the indicator lights and only put in a tach, speedo, oil pressure gauge, engine temp gauge, fuel gauge, and light switches. Happy Holidays Jim
