Joe,

I suspect the speedo - the cable looks fine and reasonably new - and it
has worked in the past.

The needle sticks when I move it with my finger - but it works ok (returns
to zero) when the gauge is on its back - or anywhere except the way up it
is when sitting in the car...

I've also realised that Im going to have to get the gauge calibrated - as
I plan to put in a 1500 or MkIV diff...
