My club met for breakfast on Sunday. One of the guys brought in a panel from a GT6 he parted out so I could see what it looks like from the back side. There are two small wood screws that hold the switch in place. I need to remove the tach and speedo so I can pull the panel out far enough to get to the screws. It seems to be original. thanks, Dave

I was thinking of a knob that you pull. I assumed these were fitted to all Spits/GT6s - maybe a PO changed to a non-standard switch after the original broke and he couldn't find / couldn't be arsed with another original? Or maybe I'm wrong and a '73 GT6 has a different switch specified to a 1500 Spit. Sorry I can't help more! Richard Gosling *** http://www.team.net/the-local *** Your messages not reaching the list?
