I don't doubt you (and I don't have any here to
measure), but if the difference in axle length is
between the u-joint and dust shield and the uprights
are the same (I think they are), then it seems longer
axles would require a longer rear spring.  Is there
enough slop in the spring bushings that you can
mismatch axles and springs without negative
consequences?
