Hello All,
Was wondering if anybody could confirm or add any info in regards to a
head I just purchased. I bought it at Lily Ponds get together in its' original
box as a new old stock item. I have no reason to believe it is not as it is a
new spitfire or midget 1500 head. On the tag attached to head it reads as
follows,
TKC 2748
" This is the only head that was made to a
9:0-1 compression ratio, all others being
7:5-1."
The TKC 2748 is stamped in the head as per where any other head
number would be. After scrutnizing it, it does not appear to be bogusly
stamped. There is a Y stamped on the rear rocker pedestal. Some core casting
numbers are; CKS. RK O
0589
If any one could spread any light on this I certainly would appreciate it. I
would like to best know how to utilize this head.
