If you don't find someone wanting to sell one privately, give TRGB (www.trgb.co.uk) a call. They've got lots of old dashes stashed in their stores, I picked up a complete 1500 dash in reasonable nick for not much money (don't remember exactly how much now), although it took a while of digging to find the 3 matching bits!
You could also try the Spitfire Graveyard - never used them myself 'cos TRGB was much closer, but they've reputedly got lots of used stuff in every condition.
