Hmmm... Sorry, I didn't mean it to dbe a trick question, it's just that the
manual says there is a relay for the 80 Spit. I'm getting good click from
the solenoid, and getting contenuity from the 3/4 lockout switch. I've
cleaned the screen of sludge and changed the tranny oil. The next step is
the pin wrench to the plug that hides the hi pressure filter.

Trick question! I believe the later ODs do not have a relay at all.
For the older models (like mine), it is mounted next to the horn relay, on
the upper front of the firewall.

P.S.: If you are trying to fix electrical problems by replacing parts
until the
problem goes away, you are choosing the Way Of Pain. At the very
least, you should have a good digital multi-meter and a wiring diagram.
