Hi All, Not to drag the Spit lists down w/ non-Spit content, but.... A friend has an MGB *PROJECT* that he's looking to sell - contact me off list for details.
On to relevant content. Once said *PROJECT* is sold, he's looking for a very nice Spit (prefers an early to mid 1500, i.e. in the '73 - '78 or so range). Modified, non-original is ok. With side draft Weber(s) is even better. Wants a nice car - not a project (hence the above-mentioned sale....). Condition is far more important than color (though I think he would like to avoid the browns/whites, if possible). Also willing to consider a well-engineered Spit6. Finally, he's willing to pay for a good car - within reason! ;-) If you have or know of such a Spitfire for sale, please contact me OFF LIST.
