Perhaps based on the Z4 platform, Spit styling, with a straight 6? Could be fun! I could very well have dreamed up the whole thing too...so don't get your hopes up. Besides...being a BMW, I am sure the price tag would be significantly higher than the Spit's and TR6's were back in the day (comparatively).

It sounds intriguing.  I wonder what "along the lines of a TR6"
means.  In styling?  Big 6-cyl engine?

Of course, I can't confirm this at all.  First I heard of it.  I'd be
the last to hear anyway.
