That picture looks very familiar except I didn't have as much able bodied
help (much easier to laugh about know that the job is done). I highly
recommend this strategy for anybody in the same situation as myself.

Having 5 people to help with the process doesn't hurt, but it still took

full day to swap out my 4-speed with an OD unit. :)

The trick was suspending a rope "cradle" from one of the beams
in my garage to bear the weight of the front end of the tranny
as I guided the little bugger home.
