Hi Sumedh,

This should happen automatically, but requires several conditions to be met.
You can see these when splash tries to make the plot:

(x axis) (default=1):
(render) (0=none) ([0:10], default=0): 6
(vector plot) (0=none, 7=v) ([0:7], default=0):
WARNING: cannot tile plots because limits are set to adaptive
Graphics device/type (? to see list, default /xw):

or
WARNING: cannot tile plots because of multiple colour bars

In the former case it requires that you set the limits to "fixed" rather than
adaptive, and in the latter case it is because I tried to make a multiplot with
different quantities being rendered, so there is no "single" colour bar.

If that doesn't help, please send me a detailed example of what you are trying
to do, the plot on the screen, and the splash log from the terminal.

Cheers,

Daniel
