Hi Luis, I've just added a splash data read for the .silo format (https://wci.llnl.gov/simulation/computer-codes/silo).
r5225 To compile this on your laptop assuming hdf5 and silo installed from macports you would type: cd splash svn up export HDF5ROOT=/opt/local export SILO_DIR=/opt/local make silo The binary is called "silosplash". Let me know if you have any problems from your end. It is not terribly sophisticated at the moment, but does seem to work.
