Hi,

The form of my outputted data from my SPH fluids simulations are either in
the form of .vtk isosurfaces or pointclouds. These have velocity data
associated with each particle/point in the cloud (when I view the .vtk in
ParaView it shows this as an option).

What I'm really looking to do however is either get the flux (or ideally
the mass/volumetric flow rate) of my point cloud, over an arbitrary surface
or slice of my cloud. Is this type of functionality available within SPLASH
or relatively simple to implement? I am just beginning in the world of SPH
post-processing so bare with me. I am currently using ParaView to view my
files and the simulations are generated using DualSPHysics --> ie massive
.vtk files at each time step.

Thanks,

Adam Klasicki
